La Artista Recycled Pillows, so cute & easy to make!

These recycled pillows are the perfect accessory for la artista in your life! I used gorgeous Frida fabric (link below) and cut out the design elements to use as appliques. I bought the pillows on clearance.

Check out the video to see the step-by-step process for these recycled pillows. I think these would make great last minute gifts because they are so simple to put together and you can really customize them to fit any personality!

How to make the recycled pillows:

Start with some toss pillows. You can usually find these on sale at department stores or even the craft store. Then you’ll need fabric that has your favorite designs that can be cut out and used as appliques. Next, you need two-sided fabric adhesive sheets. Simply apply the adhesive sheet to the back of the fabric design that you cut out. Then peel the backing and place on the pillow.

This is the fabric I used for my recycled pillows, but you can do a search on Etsy, Amazon or eBay to find your fabric print. For example, here is search I pulled up on Etsy.
