My Day at Make Meaning

Cakes that we decorated at Make Meaning in Scottsdale. Can you guess which one is mine?

Scottsdale, Arizona has a new crafty vibe happening and I was lucky enough to check it out! It’s called Make Meaning, and its home base is located in New York City. Through a series of circumstances, the owners opened a location here in AZ (they have others as well). This is great news for those of us in the desert who love to make things!
This is how it works – you pay a fee (or buy a membership) and you can choose from a variety of crafts to try (priced separately). Cake decorating, beading, paper arts, glass fusing, ceramics, soap and candle making and a few more.

Thanks to my conversation with Stephen Brown this week, I’ve been using his term of “high society crafting” like crazy. Make Meaning has that high society crafting style, for the fact that you don’t have to clean up your mess – they do it for you. An array of supplies are at your fingertips and the place is crawling with bubbly crafty attendants to fulfill your every need…right down to your choice of beverage and candies!

I made a little video about my visit and the peeps at Make Meaning not only watched it but also offered FIVE free annual memberships ($36 value) for me to give away. You have to redeem them at the Scottsdale location, but you can use them at any other location in the country.

I’ll make it easy – the first five people to comment below gets one! PLEASE add your email so I can contact you easily.
