Social Artworking Canvas Class

Last April, the Crafty Chica Cruisers got to try out an exclusive class from Social Artworking! It’s a canvas painting party system that is super easy to conduct and participate in!

I was traveling at a conference when I connected with the team at DecoArt. I had seen the Social Artworking exhibit booth at the ceramics convention (many shops use canvas painting classes as an addition to their creative offerings) and asked if they would sponsor a class for the cruise.

They not only said yes, but allowed me to choose a design that represented the “crafty chica” spirit. We went back and forth via emails with sketches and one of their designers came up with this!

By the time I landed back in Phoenix, they sent me the final version!

I can’t even express how impressed I was. It’s gorgeous, isn’t it? I like how they were able to tune into my brand and personality and work with me on a custom design to make the cruisers excited! Not only that, they sponsored all the supplies for the class!

The cruisers loved it. The amazing Cathy Mejia (ArtGirlCathy) led the class step-by-step so I could join in the fun.  Each person received a kit that contained a traceable pattern, and a photo of the finished design.

Some cruisers took the painting in their own awesome direction, others followed the beautiful pattern. Some even finished theirs up at home!

I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am to see all these pictures. To think everyone took home a beautiful canvas painting!

This one is by Casey Perry!

I’m so grateful to Social Artworking and DecoArt for helping us spread creativity! This is such a cool program – you can sign up to be a consultant or a retailer. They make it super easy to get involved. Just think, you can find a local gallery, an art studio or even your own home to teach classes and use the Social Artworking resources! Make some dolla dolla billz, y’all! They have dozens of designs to choose from.

Stay tuned for more posts from the cruise!
