Review: Me Before You

I’ve been waiting for this day for two years! It’s the release date for the new film, Me Before You, based on the bestselling novel by one of my favorite authors, Jojo Moyes. I reviewed the book here when it came out. There’s always a sequel novel that is just as good.

I’m going to come back and write my actual review – I planned to bust it out last night, but I’m traveling this week and my laptop cord broke, so I’m typing this in the hotel lobby before I have to leave to an event! But I didn’t want the day to pass without telling you to go see this movie!

It stays true to the book, it celebrates a deep friendship that turns into the most magical kind of love. It will make your heart swell with happiness and then possibly shatter it to pieces. If you and your amigos have been waiting for a non-fluff, live-life-to-the-fullest-message kind of flick to see, this it is it, people. Emilia Clarke and Sam Clafin are fabulous in their roles, you won’t be sorry!

OK, I’m off for now but I’ll write up a better review when I get home to Phoenix, in the meantime, just go see the film! Bring a tissue!
