The weather shouldn’t matter when it comes to decorating your lawn. These punny plant pokes work all year round because they’ll make you smile! I used Duncan Bisque, Concepts and Pure Brilliance Glaze! I started by sketching with a pencil, then adding color and writing with dimensional paint. After that I popped them in the kiln for a quick seven hours…and then seven hours to cool. Hey, that is life in the ceramics lane, right?

Do you have any suggestions for making these if one does not own a kiln? Is there another product that would work well for these? They are so cute and I love the colors that you have.
Hi Maria! Yes, you can paint these with craft acrylics and use a spray varnish!
Where would I find those stakes at? Those are sooo cool!
