How to make stenciled scrapbook paper! What do you do when you can’t find your favorite paper at the craft store? You make your own! That’s what I did! I used to buy a huge bag of handmade & painted paper that was imported from India.
But one day it vanished from the craft store. It’s ok, because I like that now I have my own method, which I’m excited to share with you!
This is how I did it – Over at iLoveToCreate, there is a new program called Tulip For Your Home – it’s a genius system for painting pillows using two stencils, two paint colors and a roller. I did this Loteria pillow project, remember? And I also used the stencils for my walkway…
This time around, I used the jumbo stencils to paint my paper!

You can use your printed paper for scrapbook layouts, greeting cards, mixed media, book making, canvas art and so much more.
Once all was said and done, I used the paper to make greeting cards and even these fun journals, thanks to The Cinch, a book binding tool by WeRMemoryKeepers. I’ll have a tutorial on that coming up soon!
