I’m a craft hoarder in the way that I can’t throw away scraps – especially sparkly ones! The other day I had a strand of red sequin trim leftover. I had Maya give me a shirt of hers and BAM! It now has sequins!
Pre-wash your shirt. I used Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Permanent Fabric Adhesive to do my glueing!
Slip a shirt form in between the shirt’s layers, this is so the glue won’t seep through. Then draw a heart with the glue.
Carefully set the sequin trim in place and cover the glue. Let it set a few minutes and then slip your hand in under the top layer to make sure it will not glue to the shirt form. Let it dry for about 30 minutes.
And there you have it – a cute sequin heart on your shirt. It’s washable too!
How do you use up leftover sequins?
