Introducing: Students from my Publicity Workshop!

We just wrapped up the Kamikaze Publicity for Indie Artists e-workshop and learned so much! The class began early last month and every week I wrote, designed and presented a chapter lesson and exercise booklet, plus a video and oodles of helpful links. We learned how to …

liven up our bio, make our web pages pop, come  up with hooks, pitch to editors and producers, plus everything about press releases, SWAG, look books, press kits, one sheets and so much more! In the end, it all adds  up to one big, juicy e-book!

The students were very active and excited about adding a publicity plan to their business, and that made my whole summer. The spectrum of industries represented was crazy fun. Writers, photographers, authors, illustrators, painters, crafters, interior designers and many more. One thing they all have in common – they are passionate, creative and full of positive energy!

I’m so proud of all their hard work and want to introduce you to them! Drop by their sites and say hi! Here they are in no particular order.
