Crafty chica extraordinaire Kathy Cano-Murillo is an arts and entertainment reporter at The Arizona Republic where she covers theatrical film and celebrity profiles, and has her very successful syndicated column, “Crafty Ideas”. She has published several top selling crafts books including La Casa Loca and The Crafty Diva’s DIY Style Book (2004). 

She is the founder of CraftyChica.com, a wildly popular web site (1 million hits a month) launched to inspire women to brighten their lives with clever craft ideas and is the creator of a line of Hispanic-themed wallpaper borders and accessories for girls available at Lowe’s Home Improvement stores. 

Kathy Cano-Murillo has been featured extensively in many national publications including USA Today, Latina, Bust, Gourmet and Working Mother magazines and appears on local and national TV demonstrating her crafts. You can see her on three shows this year on the DIY Network.
