Hello:
I actually found your site by accident, and I am so happy I did. I am still reading your bio, and whatever else I can, and you are an amazing woman!
I have often thought of taking some samples of my Art into various stores in NYC, and to read that you actually did that years ago was so exciting. I know you have worked very hard, but what a success story. Congratulations. And I love your sense of humor.
Today I went to Home Depot, way too big for me, and bought a Soldering iron, flux, and solder to begin a project which involves layering and glass slides. I was so excited, and then she asked if I had the copper tape? "Judy", the saleswoman, was very pleasant though, and encouraged me to bring a finished piece in so she could see what I'm doing.
I found this great idea in a Someerset Studio magazine from 2003. Lucky me! There are no details how to do this. I guess I can teach myself, but I was hoping to find instructions online. I will continue my search.
Going back now to finish reading your bio. You also have a beautiful family I would like to add.
Thank you for sharing your talent.
Sincerest Wishes for a wonderful 2005.

Hi Mary!
Actually, a secret of mine when soldering - I use rosin wire instead of solder wire, it already has the flux in it, so you can skip that process. It makes it sooo easier!!
Thanks so much for your kind words and inspiration!
