In the mood for a Pan Dulce Freak Shake? We got you covered! Jeshua happily accepted this assignment to come up with three cool, refreshing, indulgent freak shakes – all with a Mexi-inspired twist!

You can look up “freak shake” on Pinterest, Google, You Tube, and Instagram to see a  wide variety of ideas and inspiration. We had yet to see one used with not only pan dulce, but also Mexican cookies and treats. And cafecito!

These combos are definitely pretty epic, so feel free to round up your amigas to share.

Pan Dulce Freak Shake Recipe

This one is inspired by rollo niño envuelto pan dulce. The inside is a strawberry jam and the outside is rolled in coconut flakes.
Pan Dulce Freak Shake
Ingredients: Coconut milk with strawberry syrup added(for a distinctive coconut taste), 3 scoops strawberry ice cream, fresh strawberries. Blend until smooth. Drizzle the cup with strawberry syrup and roll the rim in sprinkles.

The shake is garnished with a Niño envuelto pan dulce, a coconut conchita, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream.  I meant to also top it with coconut flakes but maybe that’s a suggestion we can make!

Cafecito Freak Shake

The idea behind this one is like having your cafecito with a pastelito or galleta or any pan dulce!
Cafecito Freak Shake by Crafty Chica.
Ingredients: 1 tbsp instant coffee powder, 1 tbsp Mexican chocolate powder, 3 scoops vanilla bean ice cream, a dash of cafe con leche to help the shake blend.

Garnished with a pastelito con queso, conchita chocolate, chocolate Gansito, & a coffee-cream Pirouline cookie. The rim is dipped in chocolate syrup and then rolled in chocolate sprinkles. Chocolate drizzle and whipped cream atop.

Las Frutas Freak Smoothie Recipe

Want something a lil healthier? Okay, here you go! Replace all those sugary desserts with delicious fresh fruit! A handful of frozen mixed berries, 1 banana, cashew milk (however much to make the smoothie blend), cinnamon (to taste), a quarter of a mango, fresh strawberries. Blend.
The cup is drizzled with al natural almond butter on the inside for added sweetness and protein.  Garnished with Fresh blackberries, banana, and strawberries.
