The theme of our Phoenix Frida exhibit is “I Paint My Own Reality: In Frida’s Garden.” I used the color story of florals and hand cut stencils as the theme of my collection. Each one has a little story behind it.
This is by far, one of the biggest events I’ve ever made art for. I spent many late nights working on getting everything together. I had some fails in the process, but I’m happy with how everything turned out. Now that the show is up, I don’t know what to do with myself! Start working on my next book, of course!
