Cox Cable gets DIY Network, finally!
I’m panting really hard right now because FINALLY, after months of begging and praying – Phoenix Cox Communications is adding the DIY Network to the line up – channel 133 as of December 8th!!! Fine Living is being added as well (channel 134).
Do you realize DIY has a whole block of crafty programming every Monday night? And…and…AND…(more panting from jumping up and down) they have TWELVE shows, dedicated to handmade arts.
Last month, a development director from a production company that has shows on DIY and HGTV contacted me about sending in an audition tape for some new programs they are putting together for DIY. Of course I sent it ASAP in a gold trimmed package, but I know (and can feel in my heart) it’s a long shot. So long, that it’s not even worth lighting a candle for. There’s mucho crafty competition out there, ya know? But I’d gladly hold up cue cards for them 😉 !!!
Regardless, I’ve seen what it takes to put these shows together and all I can say is everyone involved is so passionate about their work – you are getting 100% fun and quality.
Oooo, oooo, ooooo…I can hardly wait, 10 days seems like forever! I’m serious, I feel like I’m about to cry right now. Geez, I’m so emotional! A certain Aunt must be coming for a visit soon…
OK (happy sniff) all I can say is: Monday nights as of December 8th is going to be TV dinner night for la familia.
peace, respect & glitter.
